Weekend Direct Cremation Surcharge - Purewa

Additional $150 charge for a weekend direct cremation without a chapel service at Purewa. This add-on is charged on top of the $880 adult cremation fee, giving a combined crematorium fee of $1,030 where it applies. All amounts include GST.

This is not the Saturday burial surcharge. Weekend cremation with a chapel, Sunday arrangements and public-holiday conditions require direct confirmation with Purewa.

Prices are in NZD and include GST. Supplier fee schedule effective 15 January 2026; checked 3 October 2026.

Third-party prices are subject to change without notice. Final charges and availability will be confirmed with Purewa when arrangements are made.
