Weekend and Public Holiday Fee - Waikumete Cemetery
Weekend and Public Holiday Fee - Waikumete Cemetery
Additional cemetery charges for the named cemetery: Saturday burial or cremation facility use $515; Sunday burial or cremation $1,235; public holiday $2,060.
The Saturday cremation surcharge applies to hire or use of facilities. A simple cremation drop-off does not automatically attract this fee. For a Saturday arrangement using one or more facilities, apply the $515 facility/weekend fee once, not separately for the chapel, cremation and lounge. Confirm the service format and any overlapping day or timing charges with the cemetery.
Add the applicable surcharge to the base burial/interment or cremation fee. These prices are not the complete service total. Where a public holiday falls on a weekend, or other timing charges overlap, confirm the applicable charge with the cemetery rather than adding surcharges automatically.
Prices are in NZD and include GST. Revised supplier schedule issued 22 June 2026, effective 1 July 2026; checked 4 October 2026.
Third-party prices are subject to change without notice. Final charges and availability will be confirmed with the cemetery or crematorium when arrangements are made.
